If your prayer life has become as cold and burdensome as this winter, usher in a springtime of new devotion by exploring the little known wonders of the authentic Catholic contemplative tradition. The Catholic Life Institute will once again host Susan Brinkmann,OCDS in a 5-week course on the four stages of prayer based on the teachings of St. Teresa of Avila. Classes include instruction (and practice) in mental prayer, meditation, contemplation, as well as tips on how to discern the voiceof God, how to handle distractions and dryness in prayer, and how to recognize signs of advancing prayer. This is the Catholic contemplative tradition in all of its glory! Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m. in the rectory of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Horsham beginning on April 1. Cost is $35 per person.
